Hey everyone!
So life has been picking up for me! Who knew I would be busy during a pandemic after losing my job, but God is so good, and here I am getting to work on some awesome projects.
Recently, I was interviewed by Voyage ATL Magazine, and I wanted to share it with you all as I think it's a great interview to get to know more about me and my work, but I also wanted to write a quick piece about myself.
So here are 20 things to know about me:
I'm an only child
I grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago
I went to university in London and Australia
I've been to over 27 countries
My favorite food is Asian (Thai, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese)
When I was younger I dropped a volleyball and ran after it but fell and got a huge gash on my knee
I got a degree in journalism
I got to interview an Australian politician
I had an art show in Brooklyn, New York
I go international once a year
I go on a road trip every summer with my dad
I love visiting National Parks
I have a sweet tooth for cheesecake and ice cream
I moved out of my parents home right after college
I moved to 4 different homes in a year when settling in Portland
I moved to Portland for an unpaid internship
I’m allergic to cats, but I still want one
My dad gave me my first camera
My favorite thing to do when I'm sad is either go to the beach or order Thai food and watch comfort TV
Before college, I went to Europe to do a summer program at Oxford and to visit my two aunts who lived in The Netherlands and Belgium at the time
Hopefully, that helps you to understand me a little better! I have a passion for new cultures and meeting new people,
I was also featured in The Oregonian for some photos I had on the BLM Movement! I never would have guessed that I would be a feature on there lol. Thank you all for the support!
